What is Jianzhan glaze?

Jianzhan is a centuries-old Chinese stoneware glaze fired in a kiln. The glaze melts and crystallises at high temperature, creating streaks and spots that are unique to each firing. No two pieces are ever the same.

Are your rings really silver?

Yes. Our rings and pendants are set in 925 sterling silver, and the inlay is real kiln-fired Jianzhan glaze ceramic.

How do I find my ring size?

We include a simple sizing guide with every ring. If you're between sizes, we recommend the larger one — an adjustable fitting is also available on request.

Is the glaze fragile?

The ceramic inlay is fired hard and is durable for everyday wear, but like any ceramic it can chip if struck against a hard surface. Treat it as a piece of kiln art.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Wipe with a soft cloth, keep away from harsh chemicals and store in the pouch provided. Sterling silver may tarnish over time; a gentle silver polish cloth restores the shine.

How long does delivery take?

Orders ship in 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days depending on your location. See our Shipping Policy.

Can I return or exchange a piece?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unworn and in original condition. See our Returns Policy.

Are your pieces truly one of a kind?

Yes. Because each glaze is fired separately, your piece has its own pattern and colour. You are buying the one that survived the fire.
